The following was printed on Dr. Lacey Rao's HOF plaque:
The Siena Heights women’s soccer team captured three WHAC conference titles and recorded an overall record of 68-16-3 in the four years that Lacey Rao (Wilmot) played for the Saints. Rao earned All-WHAC honors three times and was an Honorable Mention NAIA All-American in 1999 and 2001. In her sophomore season, Rao recorded a team-high nineteen assists, which ranks second all-time in the Saints’ all-time season records. In 2001, she led the team with six game-winning goals. She recorded twelve game-winning goals throughout her career and ranks third all-time in that statistical category. Rao ranks fifth overall in career goals (39), second all-time in assists (39) and fourth overall in total points (117). In 2001, Rao received the Thomas Emmet, Sr. Award as the school’s top female student-athlete. Rao earned NAIA All-American Scholar-Athlete honors in 2000 and 2001 in soccer, and the same honor in 2002 as a member of the Saints’ outdoor track and field team. Dr. Rao received the University’s Outstanding Alumni Award in 2012.
