The following was printed on Kara Husband (McKeon)'s HOF plaque:

A four-time All-Conference goalkeeper, Kara McKeon anchored the Saints’ defense from 2001-04.  At the conclusion of her outstanding career, McKeon ranked #1 in career shutouts (42.5), goals against (0.61) and victories in goal (42).  She holds the single-season record for fewest goals allowed (7), which she accomplished in both her freshman and sophomore seasons for the Saints.  McKeon set a school record for shutouts in a season in 2002 with sixteen, which was one shutout more than her record-breaking fifteen shutouts in 2001.  The Saints won WHAC regular-season titles in McKeon’s first two seasons in goal and advanced to the NAIA National Championships in 2002 after capturing the Region VII title.

During her four seasons in goal, the Saints won over 75% (61-17-8) of their matches.  McKeon earned NAIA Honorable Mention All-American honors in both her sophomore and junior seasons and was a two-time NAIA and WHAC Scholar-Athlete.  She was also the female recipient of the 2004 Thomas A. Emmett Sr. Award for her outstanding achievements in athletics, academics and leadership.
