The following was printed on Ken Ferreira's HOF
plaque:
A four-year starter for the Siena Heights men’s soccer
team from 1986-89, Ken Ferreira ranked second in goals scored and
total points when he graduated. With his induction into the
Hall of Fame, Ferreira becomes the second men’s soccer player
to be honored by the selection committee.
During his career at Siena Heights, Ferreira helped the team
win three district championships and advance to three Area VI title
matches. He was named to the NSCAA (National Soccer Coaches
Association of America) honorable mention All-American team in his
senior season in 1989, when he scored a team-high 22 goals and
fifty points. At the time of his induction, Ferreira is one
of only five former Saints’ players to score over 100 points
in his career.
