The following was printed on Adam Benschoter's HOF plaque:

A lifetime .329 hitter, Benschoter played all nine positions during his four-year career for the Saints from 1988-91. He was an All-District #23 selection in his junior and senior seasons.  "Scooter" belted nineteen career homers and batted in 117 runs.  Benschoter set a single-season school record with seven triples in 1991.  He scored 142 career runs and led the team in runs scored in three of his four seasons.

Benschoter was an NAIA honorable mention All-American in 1991 and became the first Siena Heights University baseball player to be selected in the draft when the San Francisco Giants picked him in the 31st round.  Drafted as a catcher, he played second, third and first base in a two-year stint in the Giants' minor league system.
