The following was printed on Damon Armstrong's HOF plaque:

Damon Armstrong was a solid power forward for the Saints from 1984-88.  Armstrong was the inside presence that complemented fellow Siena Heights Hall of Famer Larry Bryant’s perimeter game.

Armstrong became the seventh player in school history to score 1,000 career points when he reached that number in 1988 and his 1,264 career points places him 16th all-time at the time of his induction into the Hall of Fame.  His 683 rebounds ranks #10 all-time in the program’s history.

Armstrong helped lead the Saints to a record of 26-8 and their best season in the first 13 years of the program’s history.  Despite falling in the 1988 District #23 tournament final as the top seed, this team paved the way for the Saints’ first national tournament team a year later in 1989.

Armstrong earned 1st-Team All-District #23 honors in 1988 and helped power the Saints to a Maple City Classic tournament title.
