HOF plaque:
“T” began his career in 2000 earning Honorable
Mention All-American honors at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field
National Championships as a freshman.
At the 2001 NAIA Indoor National Championships in Johnson City,
Tennessee, Greer-Travis captured the NAIA Individual National
Championship in the Hammer Throw with a toss of
176’-9”. Later that spring, he turned in another
NAIA All-American performance with a third-place finish in the
35-lb. weight throw at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships. In
his senior season, he placed fourth overall in the 35-lb. weight
throw with a throw of 56’-3.75”.
For his career, Greer-Travis earned NAIA All-American honors six
times—three at the NAIA Indoor Nationals and three at the
NAIA Outdoor National Championships, making him the most decorated
thrower in the storied history of the Siena Heights University
track & field program.
