The following was printed on Paul Bodenbach's HOF plaque:

Paul Bodenbach was the founding father of athletic training at Siena Heights and has been both an innovator and leader in the fields of athletic rehabilitation and performance training for the past three decades.  “Doc” served as the primary athletic trainer for Saints’ athletics for seven years upon receiving his undergraduate degree from Siena Heights College.  After earning his graduate degree from Western Michigan University, he became a Certified Athletic Trainer and was the first athletic training professional to develop a Sports Medicine outreach program. During that time, Bodenbach also served as the conditioning and rehabilitation trainer for the Milwaukee Brewers, the United States Speed Skating Team and the Professional Beach Volleyball Tour.  As a student-athlete at Siena Heights, Paul competed in tennis, volleyball and golf.  An amputee, he captained the U.S. Paralympic volleyball team from 1984-89.  Bodenbach parlayed his personal and professional experiences to establish Competitor’s Edge, Inc. in 1987. Competitor’s Edge is a leader in performance enhancement programs for individuals and athletes at all levels, also coordinating fitness and wellness programs at the corporate level.  Throughout his professional growth, Paul has maintained a personal and professional partnership with The Gray Institute, which, in partnership with Nike Golf, has established a golf teaching/performance program for disabled veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.
