Saints Earn 3.16 GPA in Winter Semester

668 Siena Heights student athletes earned a 3.16 GPA in the winter semester of 2023.

Leading the way in the classroom was the softball team with a 3.69 GPA, followed by women's lacrosse team with a 3.66 GPA, and the women's golf team with a 3.62 GPA.  Rounding out the top five was the women's soccer team with a 3.60 GPA and the dance team with a 3.55 GPA.

Nine of the ten women's teams earned a 3.0 GPA or higher with an aggregate GPA of 3.42.  Five of the eleven men's teams earned a 3.0 GPA or higher.  The men's cross country team led the way with a 3.38 GPA followed by the men's golf team (3.35), the men's lacrosse team (3.25), the men's track and field team (3.15) and the baseball team (3.14).  The aggregate men's GPA was a 3.01.

With the co-ed sports, the dance team led the way with their 3.55 GPA.  The cheer team earned a 2.92 GPA, and the eSports team earned a 2.82 GPA.

The 668 student athletes maintain a 3.24 cumulative GPA for their careers.  Leading the way by program is the women's soccer program with a 3.64 GPA followed by the women's cross country program with a 3.63 GPA.  The softball program holds a 3.62 GPA and the dance program carries a 3.59 GPA.  The men's cross country program rounds out the top five with a 3.58 cumulative GPA. The women's lacrosse program has the fifth highest women's GPA with a 3.54 GPA.  Rounding out the top five men's programs are the men's golf program with a 3.43 GPA, the baseball program with a 3.36 GPA, the men's track and field program with a 3.24 GPA and the men's lacrosse program with a 3.09 GPA.
