721 Student Athletes Earn 3.13 GPA in Fall 2022

721 Siena Heights student athletes earned a 3.13 GPA in the fall semester of 2022.

Leading the way in the classroom was the softball team with a 3.61 GPA, followed by women's cross country team with a 3.57 GPA, and the women's lacrosse team with a 3.54 GPA.  Rounding out the top five was the women's volleyball team with a 3.53 GPA and the women's soccer team with a 3.47 GPA.

Nine of the ten women's teams earned a 3.0 GPA or higher with an aggregate GPA of 3.38.  Five of the eleven men's teams earned a 3.0 GPA or higher.  The men's cross country team led the way with a 3.42 GPA followed by the baseball team (3.34), the men's lacrosse team (3.33), the men's golf team (3.23) and the men's track and field team (3.10).  The aggregate men's GPA was a 2.98.

With the co-ed sports, the dance team led the way with a 3.56 GPA.  The cheer team earned a 2.91 GPA, and the eSports team earned a 2.85 GPA.

The 721 student athletes maintain a 3.21 cumulative GPA for their careers.  Leading the way by program is the women's cross country program with a 3.64 GPA followed by the dance program with a 3.61 GPA.  The men's cross country program holds a 3.62 GPA and the women's volleyball program carries a 3.596 GPA.  The women's soccer program rounds out the top five with a 3.592 cumulative GPA. The softball program has the fifth highest women's GPA with a 3.57 GPA.  Rounding out the top five men's programs are the men's golf program with a 3.45 GPA, the baseball program with a 3.40 GPA, the men's track and field program with a 3.22 GPA and the men's lacrosse program with a 3.04 GPA.
