ADRIAN, Mich. – The Siena Heights University athletic department will host a winter coaches preview at ZZ's Sports Bar & Grill inside the Lenawee Recreation Bowling Center in Adrian, Michigan, on Monday, October 24. The live show will start at 6:00 PM and is open to the public.
The preview will feature coaches from winter sports teams highlighting the upcoming season. Each coach will speak on the current state of their team and expectations for this year on the air with 96.5 The Cave's Jeff Bowman.
The Cave's season gets underway on Thursday, November 3, when the SHU men's basketball team host Ohio Christian inside the Fieldhouse at 7:30 PM.
Women's basketball kicks off its season in a tournament hosted by Lawrence Tech on Friday and Saturday, November 4 and 5. The Saints begin with a game versus Taylor on Friday before wrapping up things with Grace Christian on Saturday.
Men's wrestling starts on Men'sday, November 5, at the Adrian College Invitational. Women's wrestling begins Women'se day at Wisconsin Stevens Point.
The other sports involved in the winter preview are men's and women's bowlingmen'sorts, Esports, cheer, and dance.
Both bowling teams debuted on October 8 in the WHAC 1 event in Sterling Heights. Esports has been competing since September, and competitive cheer and dance will begin after the first of the year.
