Siena Heights Athletics Announces Partnership with Opendorse to Elevate NIL Opportunities

ADRIAN, Mich. – Siena Heights University athletics is partnering with Opendorse to help current Siena Heights student-athletes enhance name, image, and likeness (NIL) opportunities.

"We are excited for the partnership between SHU athletics and Opendorse," said Siena Heights Director of Athletics Sue Syljebeck. "The partnership will give our student-athletes the ability to gain education and use of NIL opportunities and provide an additional income stream for those that use the platform."

Opendorse helps student-athletes connect with NIL deals. The industry-leading platform provides the full spectrum of support for student-athletes by educating, accessing, planning, sharing, creating, measuring, tracking, disclosing, regulating, listing, browsing, booking, and more. Over 75,000 athletes use Opendorse to understand, build, and monetize their NIL opportunities with thousands of brands, fans, sponsors, donors, and partners.

All SHU student-athletes will gain access to the Opendorse App. The app will help with Saint athlete success by improving business skills and exposes student-athletes to marketing and finance. The app will also give athletes the ability to review NIL opportunities, accept deals, receive compensation, and disclose NIL activities to their institution.

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) partnered with Opendorse on January 26, 2022. Siena Heights University is the first member school of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) to partner with Opendorse.
