Men's Cross Country Finishes 4th at WHAC Championship While Earning Honors

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's cross country team ran in the WHAC Championships hosted by Aquinas College on Saturday afternoon. The Saints ran an 8K and finished 4th out of 10 teams with a team score of 87 and a team average time of 26:37

TOP SAINTS

Liam Heaney (Junior, Chelsea, Mich.) was honored with WHAC First Team All-Conference and WHAC All-Academic as he led SHU with a time of 25:55 and placed 4th overall. Liam Hartsuff (Sophomore, Chelsea, Mich.) earned WHAC Second Team All-Conference as he finished second on the team placing 10th overall with a time of 26:14. Jareb Duggan (Senior, Hartland, Mich.) was awarded to be on WHAC Second Team All-Conference and WHAC Champions of Character Team as he finished third on the team with a time of 26:23 and finished 14th overall. Nicholas Barth (Senior, Toledo, Ohio) had a time of 27:14 and placed 28th overall. Jordan Parkinson (Junior, Coldwater, Mich.) had a time of 27:16 and placed 31st overall.

Bradley Bauer (Junior, Crestline, Ohio) earned WHAC All-Academic as he finished sixth on the team finishing 33rd overall with a time of 27:22. Shane Skelcy (Senior, Rochester, Mich.) also took home WHAC All-Academic for the Saints.

UP NEXT

The Saints will find out on Monday whether or not they have qualified for the NAIA National Championships on Friday, November 22nd in Fort Vancouver, Washington.
