LANSING, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's golf team stands in the eighth spot of the team's standings after a score of 332 in the first round of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Jamboree #1 held at the Timber Ridge Golf Course in East Lansing, Michigan. 

James Monteith (Dearborn, Mich.) led the Saints with a 79 in round one to tie for 14th in the individual standings. Aaron Bitz (Monroe, Mich.) tied for 22nd with a score of 81. Colin Duffy (Pinckney, Mich.) finished with an 83 to tie for 28th. Grady Morlock (Adrian, Mich.) and Andrew Westphal (Oconto, Wis.) rounded out the Saint scores with an 89 to tie for 44th.

The second round of the WHAC Jamboree #1 will begin tomorrow (Sept. 14) at 9:00 a.m., EST.
