Adrian, Mich. – The Siena Heights baseball team lost two games to Concordia this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Game 1:
The Saints cracked the scoreboard first in the 2nd inning when Delver Frietes hit a RBI single. Then in the 3rd inning SHU scored another run off a Cardinal error to make the game 2-0. But in the bottom of the 4th, Concordia scored four runs to put the score at 4-2. Brenden Baker had a RBI double in the 5th to give Siena a run but CUAA scored four more runs in the 6th to put the score at 8-3. In the 7th inning the Saints showed some life as Logan Nolff hit a two run home run to make the game 8-5 but couldn't score anymore runs and SHU took the loss.

Game 2:
The Cardinals had control of game two right in the 1st inning when they scored two runs. Then Concordia scored again in the 2nd to make the game 3-0. CUAA got another run in the 6th and four in the 7th to make it 7-0. The Cardinals ended up scoring three more runs in the 8th to win by mercy rule.
