Adrian, Mich. – The Siena Heights baseball team lost a close game to Cleary today by a score of 6-5.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Saints and the Cougars got together for a non-conference double header this afternoon. Cleary cracked the score first in the 1st inning then scored one run in the 4th and two runs in the 5th. The score was 4-0 heading to the bottom of the 5th when Snyder Torres hit a RBI single to score a run making the game 4-1.
As the game went into the bottom of the 6th, Trevor Hulvey had a RBI single to score a run. Then Brenden Baker had a pinch hit sacrifice fly to make the game 4-3. In the 7th inning, Ryley Overacker hit a RBI single to tie up the game at 4. Cleary in the 9th inning was able to put up two runs and go ahead 6-4. Siena got one run back in the bottom of the 9th from a bases loaded walk but couldn't get the tying run across.
