Lake Wales, Fla. -- The Siena Heights baseball team went 0-2 on the day for the first two games of the Warner Invitational.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Game 1:
The Saints and Royals faced off again. Warner scored first in the second and third inning to make it a 3-0 game. Siena would get on the board in the 4th when Nic Olson hit a RBI single to score Logan Nolff. The game would be 3-1 when the Saints scored again the 5th. Nolff hit Snyder Torres in on a base hit and SHU pulled within one for a 3-2 game.
However, Siena struggled in the 6th inning as they gave up five runs to make it a 8-2 game. SHU would score a run in the 7th from another Nolff RBI to make it 8-3 but it wasn't enough.

Game 2:
Saints took the field again right after the first game to play the Cougars. MVNU scored right off the bat in the first inning to put the score 1-0. Siena came right back in the third inning to take the lead. Brendan Green had a RBI single followed by a Ryley Overacker sacrifice fly RBI to make it 2-1.
Nazarene however came right back in the bottom half of the 3rd when they hit a three run home run to go ahead 4-2. Weston Cook hit a RBI single in the 6th inning to put the Saints within one but could get another run to finish the game 4-3.

The Saints will continue in the Warner Invitational in Lake Wales, Fla. They face off against Spring Arbor at 9:30am and then play St. Francis at 12:30.
