Saints Win at Concordia (Mich.), Xochitl Garcia Places Second to Lead the Way

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's cross country team won the women's 5k race at the Concordia (Mich.) Invitational on Saturday. Xochitl Garcia (Bronson, Mich.) led the way with a second-place finish with a time of 20:45.9 as the Saints had four individuals finish in the top-10 to claim the lowest team score and secure the victory. 

Brooke Hildebrandt (Adrian, Mich.) was sixth with a time of 21:34.4. Emily Monroe (Milan, Mich.) was eighth with a 22:06.2 finish. Perla Reyes (Battle Creek, Mich.) finished 10th with a time of 22:42.0 while teammate Isabelle Uganski (Whitehall, Mich.) was just two seconds behind to claim 11th with a mark of 22:44.7. Jezra Reyes (Berrien Springs, Mich.) finished the race in 22:53.1 for 13th and Morgan Turk (Lapeer, Mich.) finished the Saints times with a 14th-place time of 23:10.6.
