Women's Cross Country Earns 2nd at Jayhawk Invitational

MUSKEGON, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's cross country team ran at the Jayhawk Invitational hosted by Muskegon Community College on Saturday afternoon. The Saints ran a 5K and finished 2nd out of 10 teams behind Calvin University with a total team score of 55.

TOP SAINTS

Xochitl Garcia (So. | Bronson, Mich.) led Siena Heights with a time of 19:09 and placed fifth overall. Rachel Wiltse (Jr. | Leslie, Mich.) finished with a time of 20:01 placing second on the team and 12th overall. Brianna Martin (So. | Grayling, Mich.) placed 13th overall just behind Wiltse with a time of 20:02 for third on the team. Emily Monroe (So. | Milan, Mich.) finished fourth on the team with a time of 20:19 for 18th place overall. Isabelle Uganski (Fr. | Whitehall, Mich.) earned a time of 20:50 placing 27th overall and finishing fifth on the team.
