Saints Compete In The Calvin Knights Invitational

Grand Rapids, Mich. The men's and women's Siena Heights cross country teams ran in their first invitational of the season today. They competed in the Knight Invitational at Calvin College. The women's team ran a 5k as they finished 17th with a score of 489. The men's team ran a 8k and finished in 17th as well with a score of 458. 

Top Women Finishers:

-Andrea Crowe (Sophomore, Brighton, Mich.) lead the saints as her time was 19:26.4 which was she placed in 41st.

-Casie Nadasky (Freshman, Rochester, Mich.) finished in 79th place with a time of 20:04.2.

-The saints average time was 20:43.7

Top Men Finishers: 

-Bradley Bauer (Sophomore, Crestline, Ohio) placed 61st with a time of 26:50.9 which was best for the saints.

-Liam Hartsuff (Freshman, Chelsea, Mich.) finished with a time of 27:26.5 good enough for 93th place.

-SHU's team average time was 27:25.4

Up Next for the men's team is the National Catholic Invitational in South Bend, Ind. on Friday Sept. 14 2018. The women's next event is the Raider Invitational in Prairie Woods Park, Caledonia, Michigan on September 21 2018.
