Siena Heights women's cross country runner Ashley Russo has qualified for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Championship, set for Friday, Nov. 18, in Vancouver, Wash., as announced by the governing bodies recently.
At the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championship, Russo finished seventh overall. She finished the 5k in 18:32.4, her best time of the season.
The race is set to start at 11:30 PST (2:30 EDT). This is Russo's fourth year in-a-row qualifying for Nationals. In 2015, women's cross country qualified for the National Championships as a team.
