Siena Heights women's volleyball seniors Libby Breton and Amanda Metz were honored as members of the CoSIDA Academic All-America team as announced by the organizaton. Breton was named a member of the first team and Metz to the second team.

Breton is a two time honoree, after being named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Second Team in her junior season, and being selected to the first team after the 2017 season.

Breton holds a 4.0 GPA as a Biology major, and was a key piece to helping the Saints on the court. She averaged 2.15 kills per set for a total of 243 on the season. She finished with an attack percent of .277 to lead SHU. She also ended the season with a team high, 1.08 blocks per set average and 122 total blocks – 15 solo and 107 assisted.

Metz is a first time CoSIDA Academic All-America honoree after being named to the second team. She holds a 4.0 GPA and is an English/Language Arts major.

Metz led the team with 997 assists, averaging 8.67 per set. She also contributed 121 kills with an attack percent of .249 as well as 289 digs (2.51 per set) and 53 total blocks.

The duo helped the Saints to a 25-7 overall record and a 10-5 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference record. Siena Heights fell in the semifinals of the WHAC Tournament to No. 17 Cornerstone who went on to win the tournament.

In order to be eligible for this award, the student-athlete must maintain a minimum 3.3 GPA on a 4.0 scale, have reached sophomore status, and compete in at least 50 percent of the team's contests. This award recognizes student-athletes for their combined performance athletically and academically.
