The Siena Heights women's volleyball senior, Amanda Metz was named to Mideast Region, honorable mention as announced by the American Volleyball Coaches Association on Monday. 

Metz, the setter from Otsego, Mich. competed in all 32 matches -- totaling 115 sets. She led the Saints with 1,022 assists on the season averaging 8.89 assists per set. She also contributed 292 digs, 122 kills and 53 blocks while finishing with another team high in aces with 39.

Metz helped Siena Heights to a 25-7 overall record and a 10-5 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference record. SHU fell to No. 16 Cornerstone in the WHAC tournament semifinals after defeating Northwestern Ohio in the tournament second round to advance to the semis.
