ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's volleyball team hosted Aquinas on Wednesday for Senior Night as the Saints honored it's seven seniors -- Amanda Metz, Gabrielle Kalugar, Julie Bonk, Taylor Purcell, Rachel Cornish and Abby Whitehead. The contest was also the final regular season match of the 2017 season.
SHU dropped the match in three sets with set scores of 25-18, 25-16 and 25-12.
Leading the Saints' attack was Christine Tylutki with ten kills. Distrubuting a team high 23 assists was Amanda Metz, while Gabrielle Kalugar finished with 27 digs. Libby Breton led the Saints at the net with five blocks -- one solo and four assisted. Anna Tartarian contributed two aces.
Next up, Siena Heights will enter Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference tournament play, beginning with the first round on Saturday, Nov. 4. Tournament game times and match-ups are to be announced.
