ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's volleyball team hosted Rochester in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference contest on Wednesday. The Saints swept the match, handling the Warriors with set scores of 25-7, 25-12 and 25-13.

SHU got off to a quick start, overwhelming RC in the first set and did not look back. The Saints took set two and finished off the match, also winning the third.

Christine Tylutki led the Saints with nine kills. Also helping SHU was Paige Hudgin and Taylor Purcell, adding six kills each. Amanda Metz dished out 25 assists as Madison Sitter contributed another six. Rachel Cornish finished with a team high, four assisted blocks. Anna Tartarian and Gabrielle Kalugar each finished with eight digs.

Tying a single game record for aces with seven, was Gabrielle Kalugar. The record was set in the 2014 season by Mycala Cherry.

Next up, Siena Heights will travel to take on No. 16 Madonna on Friday, Oct. 20. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
