Women's Volleyball Set For Three WHAC Contests

The Siena Heights women's volleyball team will return to action on Wednesday after taking on Lourdes in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play, and then heading to the Aquinas/Cornerstone Classic. The Saints ended up 4-0 in the Classic and were named tournament champions. Libby Breton was named MVP, while Christine Tylutki and Gabrielle Kalugar were selected as members of the first and second team All-Tournament, respectively.

This week the Saints will host Rochester on Wednesday, before traveling to face No. 16 Madonna on Friday, and Michigan-Dearborn on Saturday.

Rochester currently hold a 6-17 overall record and a 1-8 WHAC record. The Saints and Warriors have met twice, previously this season where SHU has swept both matches.

No. 16 Madonna (24-3, 9-0 WHAC) enters the week after having it's 15 game win streak snapped, in the Aquinas/Cornerstone Classic when they were defeated by Olivet Nazarene (Ill.), 3-2. Last time Siena Heights took on Madonna, MU  won the match in three sets (Oct. 21, 2016).

Michigan-Dearborn holds a 9-10 orverall record and a 1-7 WHAC record. Entering the week, the Wolverines look to extend on it's five game win streak as they look to take on Indiana Tech, Lourdes and Siena Heights. Last time UM-Dearborn and Siena Heights met, the Saints swept the match (Oct. 22, 2016)

Next up, the Saints will host Concordia in a WHAC contest on Wednesday, Oct. 25. First serve is set for 7:30 p.m.
