THE MATCHES
The Siena Heights women's volleyball team will host Davenport on Wednesday in their home opener, before heading to Detroit, Mich. to take on Marygrove on Friday, and then to Southfield, Mich. to face Lawrence Tech on Saturday. All three match-ups will be Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference contests.
SHU enters this stretch looking for redemption after losing to Lourdes (Ohio) in their frist conference battle of the season, 3-0, in their only match last week.
Davenport will meet SHU, coming off a four game losing streak since Sept. 2, dropping their final three matches in their appearance at the Bellevue Tournament in Nebraska, and losing their WHAC opener to Cornerstone on Sept. 7. The Panthers hold an overall record of 3-6 and 0-1 in the WHAC.
Marygrove has started the season with a 3-2 record and a 0-1 record in the WHAC. The Mustangs will face Northwestern Ohio, Siena Heights, and Lourdes, all in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference match-ups this week.
Lawrence Tech enters the week with an overall record of 8-9 and 0-1 in the WHAC, losing to Indiana Tech in their conference opener. Before facing the Saints, the Blue Devils will take on confernce opponents Madonna, and Lourdes (Ohio).
