PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- The Siena Heights women's volleyball team defeated Montreat (N.C.), 3-1, in a close contest prior to losing 3-0 to the hosts, Point Park (Pa.) on Friday.

The Cavaliers took the first set 25-23, then the Saints took control and never looked back. SHU won the last three set with scores of 25-22, 25-22 and 25-15.

SHU fell to the hosting Pioneers (2-10) in game one 25-16 and couldn't regain control of the match. The final two set scores were both 25-20.

Next up, Siena Heights (4-2) will take on Lawrence Tech in a non-conference match at 8 a.m. on Sunday. Afterwards, the Saints will face Rio Grande (Ohio) at 2 p.m.
