Ryan Flanary is in his second season as an assistant coach for the Siena Heights men’s and women’s track and field teams.
Flanary is a graduate of Adrian College. He began coaching high school track and field in 1981 and has coached at Monroe, Grosse Ile and Carleton Airport high schools.
Specializing in the throwing events, Flanary has coached over 35 state qualifiers in the shot put and discus combined.
Flanary coached the 1983 Golden West Games shot put champion and
the 2008 USA Track and Field Junior Olympics Intermediate Girls
Division hammer throw champion.
