Richards Hits Two Provisionals For Women's Track and Field

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Linnearia Richards hit NAIA provisional-qualifying marks in two events at Davenport's Panther Classic, which took place Friday and Saturday.

Richards won the 400-meter hurdles with a provisional 1:04.26 and placed runner-up in the long jump with a provisional 18 feet, 10 1/2 inches (5.75 meters).

Emma Valentine added a provisional in the high jump, clearing 5-5 (1.65m) for second place.

Jenna-Ann Johnson won two events, finishing the 100 in 12.52 and the 200 in 25.71. Samantha Nowell took first in the pole vault with a 11-10 1/2 (3.62m) and Faith Jackson hurdled to first in the 100 hurdles with a 14.75.
