Women's Track and Field Find Success at Bellarmine Inviataional

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Siena Heights women's track and field team had two first place finishes at the Bellarmine Invitational, on Friday.

Asia Gardner placed first in the women 100 meter dash with a time of 12.16 seconds.

The 4x100 meter relay team consisting of Mildrenae Young-Brooks, Emily Hill, Alexis Moore and Asia Gardner took second place with a time of 47.53 seconds.

Tina Miller had a toss of 35.01 in the javelin throw, good for third place.

Rachel O'Neill placed third in the discus. She threw 37.65m.

Haley Hudson threw 13.44m in the shot put to earn for second place. Teammate O'Neill finished third with her distance of 11.64m.

In the pole vault, Sheila McKinley took first place via tiebreaker with a height of 3.80m. Tasha McKinley placed second, also with a vault of 3.80m.

Julia Forbes landed in second place in the women's long jump with a distance of 5.33m.

Next up, the Saints will host the Don Kleinow on Friday, April 20.
