Eleven Women's Track & Field Athletes Named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes

The Siena Heights women's track and field team had eleven athletes named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the governing body recently.

Two-time scholar-athletes include seniors Marissa Johnson, Morgan Kulwicki, Kristin Stobinski and Mariah Ridal. All four athletes are also two-time WHAC Scholar-Athlete recipients.

Newcomers to this award include juniors Kara Boskee, Sheila McKinley, Tasha McKinley, Lauren McMahon, Rachel O'Neill, Haley Hudson and Olivia Dameron. The seven juniors were also named WHAC Scholar-Athletes.

In order to be nominated for the Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete award, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status. A total of 467 women received this award.
