Duncan, Renshaw Lead Womens T&F at Michigan

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Thrower Kasey Renshaw and high jumper Phoenix Duncan recorded NAIA automatic-qualifying performances for the Siena Heights women's indoor track and field team at Michigan's Simmons-Harvey Invitational on Saturday. As a team, the Saints had two auto performances and two provisionals.

Renshaw distanced 59 feet, 9 3/4 inches (18.23 meters) while placing runner-up in the weight throw. Her performance fell short of her previous-best auto.

Duncan cleared 5-6 (1.68m) in the high jump, but also did not meet her previous-best performance. Teammate Marissa Johnson, who already has an auto, had a provisional of 5-4 1/4 (1.63m). Duncan placed third and Johnson was fifth.

Stephanie Marquardt added a 14th-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles. She clocked in with a provisional of 9.22 seconds. She already has an auto in the event.
