Women's Soccer Pulls Away Late vs Madonna

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's soccer team pulled away late to a 2-0 victory over WHAC conference opponent Madonna on Saturday at O'Laughlin Stadium. 

Cassie McNatt and Lily Tiplady scored the Saints' two goals. Parker Cheney had both assists on both goals.

Sydney Eads was the winning goalkeeper with two saves off of two shots in all 90 minutes. 

In a scoreless first half the Saints pulled away late in the second half. McNatt broke the tie in the 76th minute with Cheney on the assist. Ten minutes later in the 86th minute, Tiplady scored the second goal which was also assisted from Cheney to seal it. 

The Saints will return to action on Tuesday, Oct. 22, with a 7 p.m. EDT game vs Cornerstone at O'Laughlin Stadium.
