Adrian, Mich. The Siena Heights women's soccer team blew out Rochester College 10-0 this evening to improve to 9-0-0 on the year.

How It Happened:

The Saints were able to pound out 10 goals on the day to cruise past Rochester College. Siena scored seven goals in the first period. Siena's goalscorers were Danielle Eastman (Senior, Clark Lake, Mich.), Ashley Strong (Sophomore, Howell, Mich.), Paige Rachut (Senior, Plainwell, Mich.), Genesis Pena (Freshman, Saline, Mich.), Taylor Mulder (Senior, Saline, Mich.), and Magali Romero (Freshman, Asuncion, Paraguay).

Siena Heights University has improved their record to 9-0-0 which is the first time in school history to start this way.

Sophia Lentz (Junior, Kalamazoo, Mich.) started in goal for Siena as she made four saves and earned the win.  

Top Saints:

  • Eastman had one goal and one assist on the day
  • Strong would score two goals in the game
  • Rachut scored two goals as well in the game also one assist
  • Pena scored one goal
  • Mulder scored three goals all within a two minutes in the game
  • Romero had a goal and a assist

The Opposition:

  • Cali Clemens started in goal for the Warriors and made 7 saves.
