Adrian, Mich. The Siena Heights women's soccer team won their conference opener by a score of 6-0 and improve to 8-0 on the year.

How It Happened:

The Saints dominated their conference opener today by beating Cleary (Mich.) 6-0. SHU outshot the Cougars by 20-3. Siena scored their first goal in the 13th minute as Julia Stancato (Junior, South Lyon, Mich.) scored her first goal out of two on the night. She would also score in the 50th minute too.

Siena had four other players score goals on the night. Kathryn Gordon (Junior, Canton, Mich.) netted a goal in the 13th minute from a assist by Macy Llewellyn (Sophomore, La Porte, Ind.). Siena's third goal was scored by Magali Romero from a pass by Taylor Mulder (Senior, Saline, Mich.). Paige Rachut in the 44th minute scored to increase Siena's lead. The final scorer for SHU on the day was Isabel Herden (Freshman, Wedel, Germany).

In goal for the Saints was Kara Bishop (Sophomore, Allegan, Mich.) who made three saves and earned the win.
