Fort Wayne, Ind. The Siena Heights women's soccer team got their seventh win of the season this afternoon as they beat Saint Francis (Ind.) by a score of 3-1.

How It Happened:
The Saints had a strong offense and defense tonight as they beat St. Francis in every stat category. SHU outshot the Cougars 20-6 and only aloud one corner kick from the Cougars. Siena got on the board very quick in the game as Paige Rachut (Senior, Plainwell, Mich.) scored in the 1st minute of the game.
In the second half St. Francis would strike back to even the game but then SHU took back control of the match. In the 52 minute Kelsey Cheaney (Senior, Canton, Mich.) scored a goal to give the Saints the lead. Shortly after that Ashely Strong (Sophomore, Howell, Mich.) put a ball in the net to increase the Saints lead.
In goal for the Saints was Kara Bishop (Sophomore, Allegan, Mich.) who earned the win making three saves.
Top Saints:
-Rachut scored her second goal of the season
-Cheaney scored her first goal of the season
-Strong netted her third goal of the season
-Bishop got her fifth win
The Opposition:
-Brey Baltazar lead the cougars with 2 shots on goal and one goal on the day
-In goal for SFU was Sarah Lewis who made seven saves and got the loss
