Adrian, Mich. The Siena Heights University women's soccer team defeat cross town rival Adrian College in overtime this evening. Taylor Mulder (Senior, Saline, Mich.) was able to capitalize on a penalty kick to win the game.

How It Happened:
The game started off very slow for the Saints as they were not able to put up a shot in the first half. Kara Bishop (Sophomore, Allegan, Mich.) was in net for Siena as she was able to keep the Saints in the game by stopping 5 balls. As the game moved into the second half, Siena was finally able to put shots up and increase their scoring opportunities. However, after 90 minutes of play nobody could score.
It was a quick overtime as in the 4th minute of OT Mulder was up for a penalty kick. As the Saints leading scorer, she would add to her total and make the shot.
Top Saints:
-Mulder scored her 8th goal of the season
-Bishop earned her 3rd straight win and got her 2nd shout out of the season
The Opposition:
-Megan Louwers lead the Bulldogs as she had three shots on goal
-In goal for Adrian was Ayverie Giller who made three saves on the day
Up Next:
The Saints will travel on the road Wednesday Sept. 19 to Saint Francis (Ind.). Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00pm.
