Women's Soccer Travels to #2 Northwestern Ohio for the WHAC Tournament Championship

The Siena Heights women's soccer team heads to No. 2 Northwestern Ohio for the Championship game in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. in Lima, Ohio, where the Saints will be playing for an automatic-bid to the NAIA Tournament.

SHU enters the game with an 11-6-2 overall record while the Racers come in at 17-1-1, losing only to No. 1 Spring Arbor. The Saints took down Madonna 2-1 in the semifinal as the Racers defeated Concordia 2-0 to advance to the finals.

Last time SHU and UNOH met was Oct. 28, the Saints falling 2-0. Camilla Anderson and Bogca Horvath scored both goals in the first half for the Racers. Taylor Hill stopped four shots for the Saints as winning-goalkeeper Romane Salvador stopped six shots for the Racers.

Siena Heights and Northwestern Ohio have met seven times in program history, three times in the WHAC Tournament. Overall, Siena Heights is 1-6 against UNOH, defeating the Racers in 2013, 2-1, as the only team that has beaten UNOH on their home field. In the WHAC Tournament, Siena Heights is 0-3, losing twice in the finals and once in the semifinals.

Price for admission is $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors--parent passes will not be accepted for WHAC Tournament admission.
