The Siena Heights women's soccer team hosts a single Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference contest this week as Indiana Tech visits O'Laughlin Stadium for a 7 p.m. match, on Wednesday, to conclude their regular season home matches.
SHU currently holds a 7-5-2 overall records and is 4-1-2 in the WHAC, currently sitting in fourth place. Last Saturday, the Saints took down Cornerstone 4-0, during Homecoming weekend, with goals from Taylor Mulder, Kathryn Gordon, Julia Stancato and Danielle Eastman as Taylor Hill stopped three shots to earn the clean sheet.
Leading SHU so far this season is Samantha Bartelotti with five goals and seven assists. She is followed by Paige Rachut with four goals and an assist, and Mulder with three goals and two assists. Goalkeeper Meghan Bogg leads the Saints with 546 minutes while allowing five goals with a .857 save percentage while Sophia Lentz has played 307 minutes for a .900 save percentage. As a team, Siena Heights has scored 33 goals while allowing 14.
The visiting Warriors are 47-5-1 with a 4-1-1 WHAC record, recently falling to No. 3 Northwestern Ohio 6-1.
Last time the two programs met was Oct. 19, 2016 as SHU won 3-1 with two goals from Bartelotti and a lone goal from Stancato. Hill earned the win with three saves.
Next up, Siena Heights will travel to Rochester for a 2 p.m. contest, on Tuesday. For the regular season finale, the Saints will travel to third-ranked Northwestern Ohio for a 12 p.m. contest on Saturday, Oct. 28.
