Bartelotti Nets Two in Women's Soccer Victory Over Indiana Tech

FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Samantha Bartelotti scored twice in No. 22 Siena Heights women's soccer 3-1 victory over Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference foe Indiana Tech, on Wednesday.

Bartelotti netted the first goal in the sixth minute of action and added another goal eight minutes later when Olivia Sullivan sent a ball through the middle that Bartelotti finished.

In the 42nd minute, Julia Stancato beat a defender and sent the ball past Indiana Tech's goalkeeper to put the Saints up 3-0.

The lone goal for Indiana Tech (3-10-2, 2-5-0) came in the 75th minute when Hannah Duschl finished a corner kick sent in by Jessica Zurcher.

Winning goalkeeper Taylor Hill stopped three shots for the Saints while Tailer Roscoe made ten saves for the Warriors.

Siena Heights (10-3-2, 6-1-0) outshot Indiana Tech, 26-6, and held a 7-1 corner kick advantage.

The Saints will travel to their final away match of the regular season to take on Marygrove. The WHAC contest is set for a 12 p.m. kickoff on Saturday.
