#14 Women's Soccer Falls to #2 UNOH in WHAC Tournament Final

LIMA, Ohio -- The 14th-ranked Siena Heights women's soccer team fell 2-0 to second-ranked Northwestern Ohio in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament Championship, on Saturday.

After both teams hit the post in the first half, the Racers and Saints went into halftime tied, 0-0.

Northwestern Ohio (17-2-2) broke the tie in the 54th minute when Hannah Baines netted a loose ball in the box off of a corner-kick. The Racers added an insurance in the 89th minute when Kaitlynn Gronas finished a through ball from Vanessa Barcelleiro.

Saints' goalkeeper Meghan Bogg made seven saves in net, six in the second half. Northwestern Ohio goalkeeper Nadine Stonjek stopped one shot in goal.

Samantha Bartelotti led the Saints (17-4-0) in shots, four total with one on frame. 

The Saints are waiting to hear from the NAIA for an at-large bid. The results will be streamed live at 12 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 16, from the NAIA Network.
