#17 Women's Soccer Falls to #3 Northwestern Ohio

LIMA, Ohio – Taylor Mulder scored the lone goal for the 17th-ranked Siena Heights women's soccer team in 2-1 loss against third-ranked Northwestern Ohio, on Saturday.

Mulder converted on a breakaway for the Saints in the 78th minute, but it wasn't enough to match the Racers' scoring efforts. Northwestern Ohio's Camilla Anderson finished a cross from Laura Blanchard in the 23rd minute. Followed shortly by another UNOH goal by Pauline Quesson, assisted by Anderson. The Saints maintained possession in the second half, outshooting UNOH 5-1.

Taylor Hill made three saves in net for the Saints. Goalkeeper Nadine Stonjek stopped one shot in net for the Racers (6-2-2, 3-0-0).

Overall Siena Heights was outshot 10-7 by the Racers, who held a 7-2 corner-kick advantage.  

The Saints (9-2-0, 2-1-0) will be back in action on Wednesday against WHAC opponent Concordia. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. at the Cardinal Stadium.
