#17 Women's Soccer Keeps Rolling For Ninth Straight Win

ADRIAN, Mich. -- Paige Rachut scored a late goal to lift the 17th-ranked Siena Heights women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory against WHAC opponent Indiana Tech, on Wednesday.

The Saints and Warriors went into haftime scoreless -- SHU had 18 shots while IT had three shots in the first half. In the 86th minute, Rachut finished a pass from Erin Scheidel after being crossed in by Taylor Mulder to score the only goal in the match, lifting the Saints to their ninth straight victory.

Meghan Bogg earned the win in net for the Saints -- making five saves. Alena Payne made seven stops for Indiana Tech (4-5-2, 0-1-1).

Siena Heights (9-1-0, 2-0-0) outshot the Warriors 30-5, and held an 8-3 corner-kick advantage.

The Saints will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to WHAC opponent, 3rd-ranked Northwestern Ohio.
