Men's wrestling falls to Adrian College

The Siena Heights men's wrestling team dropped a home dual against Adrian College 35-13 in the Fieldhouse.

The teams traded pins at 125 and 133 pounds, before Adrian College took the lead for good with a fall at 14 pounds.

Five bonus point victories were the difference for the Bulldogs.

Winning matches for the Saints was Randy Frailey (pin at 133 pounds), Dylan McLean (9-7 sudden victory at 149) and Kynan Savoie (12-2 major decision at 157).

"I was extremely impressed with our collective effort today," said Head Coach Derrik Marry. "We talked a lot about how important it is to battle through adversity regardless of the scoreboard or situation we find ourselves I  – we did that today. Huge thank you goes out to the crowd for building such an awesome environment for these athletes."

The Saints are off until Jan. 2 when they head to Rio Grande.
