Women's Lacrosse

Cindy Hill enters her eighth season as head coach of the Siena Heights women's lacrosse program. She was previously named Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in the 2013, 2014 and 2015 seasons. She was also named the WHAC Champions of Character Coach in the 2013, 2014 and 2016 season.

Hill coached the Saints during their inaugural year in 2012, when SHU competed in the National Women's Lacrosse League, before transitioning to the WHAC division of the NWLL in 2013. Hill was selected as an NWLL All-Star Coach following the 2016 season.

Another role Hill plays is the Chair of the WHAC Women's Lacrosse Committee for the last three years. She is a rater for the WHAC and the NAIA for two years while serving on the NAIA Hall of Fame Committee. She is also on the Executive Advising Committee.

Hill and the Saints recorded the first win in program history on March 12, 2013, when they defeated Urbana (Ohio), 9-8.

Prior to taking over the Siena Heights program, Hill spent the previous nine years as a coach for varsity, junior varsity and middle school teams at Tecumseh, where she taught high school classes as well. She has been involved with the Michigan High School Athletic Association’s rules committee for girls’ lacrosse.

Hill recently completed her Level 6 Master’s Elite Coaching Certification from the MHSAA and is U.S. Lacrosse Level 2 certified. She has instructed numerous university, high school and elementary level lacrosse camps and clinics.

Hill is a 1982 Eastern Michigan graduate, earning a bachelor of science degree in political science/public administration.
