#6 Women's Lacrosse Rounds Out Regular Season Play Against Lourdes and Franciscan

THE GAMES
The No. 6 Siena Heights women's lacrosse team is set for its final regular season contests this week. On Wednesday, the Saints will host Lourdes in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference game, then travel to Franciscan (Ohio) for their final regular season game of the season on Saturday. 

The Saints are currently 11-3 overall and 3-2 in WHAC play. SHU averages 16.14 goals per game on 35.2 shots giving them a shot percentage of 45.8%. Siena Heights has been able to hold their opponents to 12.4 goals per game and a shot percentage of 40.8%.

Lourdes is 8-4 overall and 2-1 against WHAC opponents. The Gray Wolves average 14.67 goals per game on 30.7 shots, giving them a 47.8% shooting percentage. The Lourdes opposition has been held to 10.25 goals per game with a shot percentage of 40.1%.

Franciscan is 5-4 overall on the season. The Barons have scored an average of 11.22 goals per game on 24.77 shots giving them a 45.3% shot percentage. Franciscan has allowed their opponents 10.77 goals per contest on 30.44 shots per game with a shot percentage of 35.4%.

PLAYERS TO WATCH
Jenna Sommerville leads the Saints with 48 goals so far on the season with Marissa Cirino, Taylor Swartz and Kayla Parks, following with 39, 33 and 32 goals respectively. Cirino leads the way with 24 assists, while Swartz has added 17. Goal keeper Lizzy Elliott holds a team best, 4-1 record while allowing 62 goals and making 65 saves and a 51.2% save percent. Mariah Smythe has been helpful in goal as well for the Saints with a 3-2 record with 72 goals allowed and 62 saves and a 46.3% save percentage. 

Lourdes is led by Alyssa Long with 58 goals and 21 assists. Tiara Reed has contributed another 40 goals with Ashley Hunt adding 25. Kiley Ketteman is 8-4 in goal with 123 goals allowed and 113 saves for a save percentage of 47.9%.

Mary Krolicki leads Franciscan with 32 goals. Carly McDonald has helped on offense adding 17 goals. Brittany Bain, the lone goal keeper for the Barons, is 5-4 on the season allowing 97 goals and making 117 saves for a save percentage of 54.7%.
