#6 Women's Lacrosse Set For Two WHAC Match-Ups With #5 Indiana Tech and Concordia

THE GAMES
The No. 6 ranked Siena Heights women's lacrosse team is set for two Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference contests this week as they host No. 5 Indiana Tech on Wednesday and then travel to take on Concordia on Saturday.

The Saints are now 10-2 overall with a conference record of 2-1 and have won their last six consecutive games. The Saints are currently averaging 16.5 goals per game on 36.1 shots giving them a shot percentage of 45.7%. SHU has allowed 11.33 goals per contest for their opponents and held them to a shooting percentage of 37%.

In the most recent NAIA poll, Indiana Tech was ranked fifth, up from number six in the previous poll. The Warriors are 11-2 overall and an undefeated, 3-0 in conference play. The Warriors average 18 goals per game while holding their opponent to 6.5. ITU averages 37.8 shots per game and has a shot percentage of 47.6%.

Concordia is 3-9 overall and 0-2 in WHAC action. The Cardinals average 5.8 goals per game to their opponents, 11.8. CUAA takes 21 shots per contest and has a shot percentage of 27.8%.

PLAYERS TO WATCH
Jenna Sommerville leads Siena Heights with 41 goals on the season. Marissa Cirino has added 35 goals and leads the Saints with 21 assists. Taylor Swartz has also been able to help offensively, adding 28 goals and 15 assists. Goal keeper Lizzy Elliott has a team best record of 4-1 also leading with 59 saves. Mariah Smythe has also been effective in goal, holding a 3-1 record and making 52 saves.

The Warriors are led by Kristina Scott with 44 goals and Sam Vikstrom with 36. Bailey Childs has a team best 26 assists and has added 32 goals. Goalie Sydney Davis is 10-2 on the season and has made 58 saves.

Abigail Turner has a team high 18 goals for the Cardinals with Greyson Papp adding 11. Brianna Limback holds a team high, three assists for CUAA. Samantha Shatrau is 1-5 in goal on the season and has contributed 88 saves.
