ADRIAN, Mich. -- The No. 5 Siena Heights women's lacrosse team hosted Cleary in a non-conference contest on Senior Day on Sunday and cruised to the 21-7 victory.
The Saints scored 12 straight goals in the first half to gain control of the contest, and entered halftime with a 16-4 lead and never looked back.
Jenna Sommerville and Marissa Cirino each scored five goals for Siena Heights while Kayla Parks finished with four. Cirino added two assists, along with Taylor Swartz and Parks each adding one assist. In goal, Lizzy Elliott earned the win, increasing her record to 4-1. In the contest, she allowed four goals, making six saves on ten shots faced.
Cleary was led by Hana Barnett with three goals. Abby Coyne suffered the loss in goal, allowing 21 goals and making 12 saves.
Next up, the Saints will host No. 6 Indiana Tech in a WHAC match-up on Wednesday, April 11. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
