The Siena Heights women's lacrosse team starts the 2018 season out with a No. 10 slot in the NAIA Coaches' Preseason Top 10 Poll, as announced by the governing body recently.
The Saints finished the 2017 season with an 11-7 overall finish and 7-7 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference record.
Other schools in the WHAC ranked by the NAIA include Lawrence Tech (2nd), Indiana Tech (3rd) and Aquinas is noted as receiving votes.
Siena Heights will begin the regular season on Friday, Feb. 2, with a 2:30 p.m. non-conference contest against Cleary at the Legacy Center in Brighton, Mich.
