#10 Women's Lacrosse Unable to Contain #4 Indiana Tech

FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- The tenth-ranked Siena Heights women's lacrosse team fell 23-10 to fourth-ranked Indiana Tech in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference action, on Saturday.

Indiana Tech started the scoring early and didn't look back, SHU trailing 15-6 at halftime. Eight unanswered Warriors' goal sin the second half sealed the Saints fate.

Kayla Parks and Natalie Williams each netted three goals for Siena Heights, Parks adding an assist. Solo goals were scored by Katherine Tapia, Aliisa Mason, Marissa Cirino and Casey Rappuhn. Audrey Jarrad and Cirino each added an assist.

Leading the Warriors' scoring frontwas Sam Vickstrom with eight goals and an assist. Heidi Tremaine tallied four goals and an assist for Indiana Tech.

Winning goalie Sydney Davis stopped five shots for the Warriors while Tabitha Ferguson made eight stops for SHU.

Next up, Siena Heights will host Cleary in non-confernece action on Monday. Opening draw control is set for 7 p.m.
